NASA has the best way to watch the eclipse without going blind

The much-anticipated total solar eclipse will make its way across the United States on Monday. It’s kind of a big deal, especially because this one will stretch coast-to-coast, and it’s seven years till the next one. For those outside the path of totality, you can watch a live stream from NASA TV, which has live coverage as the total eclipse moves from Oregon, kicking off around 12:05, and proceeds to South Carolina.

This is actually the first time in American history that the total solar eclipse will cross the U.S. from coast to coast. But it’s not the first time Americans have had to be warned about the risks of staring directly into an eclipse.
