Here's what we know about the mass shooting last night at a Florida club

A shooting at a club in Fort Myers, Florida, just after midnight on Monday during a teen night left at least two people dead and 14 injured.

Several gunshot victims were already wounded when Fort Myers Police Department arrived at the Club Blu Bar and Grill, responding to a call they say was made at 12:30am local time. The deadly incident comes just over a month after a gunman opened fire at Orlando's Pulse nightclub, killing more than 49 people in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Here's what we know so far about the latest shooting:

-Two people are dead and as many as 17 are injured, with victims ranging in ages from 12 to 27 years old. Police said the shooting took place in the parking lot outside the venue.

-While Fort Myers police said up to 16 people were injured, Lee County Memorial Hospital said 17 people were treated for injuries. One person reportedly died at the hospital.

-The deceased victims are 18-year-old Stef'An Strawder and 14-year-old Sean Archilles.

-Fort Myers police said three people are being held for questioning in connection to the incident.

-Club Blu was reportedly open to all ages on Sunday for a "swimsuit glow party," which is why many of the victims are minors.

-According to a post on the club's Facebook page, the shooting occurred as parents were picking up their children. The post said it was not a teen at the venue who carried out the act, but police have not specified this information.

-Police are still working to determine the motive of the gunman or gunmen, but they confirmed on Monday "that this incident is not an act of terror (as it has been referred) or terrorism."

-The victims have not been named. Authorities said they have been trying to find out their identities.

-Some nearby roads have been shut down, but authorities said in a statement that the surrounding area "deemed safe at this time."

-One person was reportedly injured after shots were fired at a residence near the nightclub, but it is not yet clear whether the shootings are connected.
