For the latest episode of our new series with Grolsch Film Works entitled Canada's New Cinema, we got to hang out with Gia Milani right in the middle of TIFF. Amidst all of the film festival frenzy, we chatted with Gia in the Governor General's suite at the Royal York Hotel to discuss the differences between making a film on a budget of zero versus a million, plus her time working with the late Cory Monteith who appears in Gia's newest film All the Wrong Reasons, and her feelings on winning TIFF and Grolsch's Discovery Award. We were also with her when she accepted the prize and, we're not going to lie, that was a pretty warm and fuzzy moment. So enjoy! This one's a feel-good episode.
