A Deranged Group of Women Attacked and Trashed a Jack in the Box for Serving Cold Food

Employees at a Vallejo, California Jack in the Box had an even worse-than-usual shift last Sunday when they were "terrorized" by a group of dissatisfied young women.

The problem began just after noon, when the four women picked up their order from the drive-thru window and discovered that it was colder than they would have liked—no mention of what they ordered, though we're picturing a Sourdough Jack, for some reason.

When they complained, the manager offered the group a free meal and asked them to pull up and park in the parking lot. So far, so good… except the women did not pull up. Instead, they began to throw their food and drinks at the employees through the drive-through window—at least it wasn't hot!—and, according to one employee, even pulled a gun out of the glove compartment.

Still not satisfied, the four women parked and went into the restaurant, where they proceeded to knock over the cash register, along with (quelle horreur) "drink cup lids and straws."

They even managed to hit an employee in the head with something.

As it turns out, the type of people who tear up a Jack in the Box over cold food are not super bright. Employees were able to write down their license plate number when they eventually drove away, and police quickly picked them up.

None of the women had a gun upon arrest, but one was on probation—it turns out terrorizing a chain restaurant is a parole violation, who knew?—and all four were sent to Solano County Jail charged with vandalism and trespassing.

The women ranged in age from 19 to 28, which seems particularly old for this type of behavior, although at what phase in life is it a good idea to completely flip out over a lukewarm fast-food burger? Here's hoping that prison food isn't too cold for you guys.
