Today at Camden Yards: Every Fan Gets an Autograph

Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph tries to make the most of a weird situation by signing autographs for invisible fans at Camden Yards.

No fans? No problem! @McGrattan17 still signs autographs and waves to the stands! #IBackTheBirds pic.twitter.com/BlwX1jFFtF

Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph had some fun before heading out to the bullpen to warm Ubaldo Jimenez up for today's game, signing autographs for and soaking in the applause of the Camden Yards fans in attendance. It's nice to see ballplayers give back like this, and you can tell he really made the day special for that one kid in the Rafael Palmeiro jersey.

Joseph continued to enjoy the crowd as he made his way out to the bullpen and took one final bow before getting down to business.

Gonna be weird at Camden Yards today. @McGrattan17 having fun with it here: pic.twitter.com/RVVFmq44if

Obviously this is a weird situation, largely unheard of here in the States—it's not often pro athletes play in front of an empty stadium—so it's a strange day for them, too.
