After four days of negotiations, Iran has agreed to temporarily scale back its nuclear programme in return for around £4.3 billion in sanctions relief.

Talks with representatives of the "P5+1" group of nations (the US, the UK, Russia, China, France and Germany) led to Iran confirming that they would halt uranium enrichment to medium-grade purity, which can then be enriched to weapons-grade level relatively easily, and give better access to UN inspectors.

Tehran insisted it must be allowed to continue enriching uranium below medium grade purity for use in power stations.

Barack Obama was pleased with the deal, saying it would "help prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon". Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, however, wasn't so content, calling the agreement a "historic mistake".

The deal will be valid for six months while a permanent solution is sought.

Conservative MP Dominic Grieve, the government's senior law officer, has apologised for saying "corruption is endemic" in Britain's Pakistani community.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Grieve said that some immigrants in the UK "come from societies where they have been brought up to believe you can only get certain things through a favour culture", before clarifying that he meant "mainly the Pakistani community, not the Indian community".

Grieve was referring to electoral fraud, and cited a case from 2008 where Tory councillor Eshaq Khan was found guilty of fraud involving postal votes.

For whatever reason, Britain's Pakistani community weren't particularly happy about being lumped in with one corrupt councillor, with Conservative MEP Sajjad Karim saying, "As a member of the British Pakistani community myself, I've found these comments to be offensive [and] divisive."

In a statement, Grieve said he believed the "Pakistani community has enriched this country a great deal" and said he was sorry if he'd "caused any offence".

Following the discovery of three women in Lambeth who'd been held as slaves for at least 30 years, Theresa May has said she will make tackling slavery a "personal priority".

The home secretary said that slavery still has a "shocking presence in modern Britain", and that "it is walking our streets, supplying shops and supermarkets, working in fields, factories or nail bars, trapped in brothels or cowering behind the curtains in an ordinary street".

May said details from the Lambeth case were still emerging, but Scotland Yard revealed that two of the three rescued women had lived in a "collective" with one of their alleged captors after meeting through a "shared political ideology".

A Yemeni wedding guest accidentally killed two people by firing his gun in celebration.

In a video posted to Live Leak, you see a wedding party doing the jockey dance to "Gangnam Style", before a quick bout of gunfire leaves two men on the floor.

The video hasn't been authenticated, but a police source said that the man at the wedding in Taiz lost control of his rifle while firing celebratory shots in the air, killing two men and leaving two others hospitalised.

American rapper Watsky has apologised for a "stupid and wildly irresponsible" stunt at the London leg of the Warped Tour.

During his last song, the musician climbed a rope ladder up to a lighting rig – which was positioned around 30ft above the crowd – and leapt off it.

Cushioning his fall were, among others, a woman who ended up with a broken arm and a man who was hospitalised after the incident.

In a Facebook post, Watsky said: "The jump was not awesome, it was not badass and it was not ballsy."

Thankfully, for anyone who enjoys Watsky's terrible brand of hip-hop-cum-spoken-word, he will not be cancelling his future tour dates and has promised that he "will NOT be jumping off anything".
