Read: My Favorite Soundtrack Is 'Django Unchained'Quentin Tarantino's trailer for The Hateful Eight dropped today, finally putting faces to all those character names we read when the film's script leaked last year. The (likely violence-packed) western will be released this winter to coincide with the traditional celebration of Jesus Christ's birth and will tell the story of a bounty hunter—Kurt Russell—and his captive, a wanted woman played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, who have to shack up with a grizzled Samuel L. Jackson and some other unsavory characters to wait out a snowstorm. The trailer doesn't reveal much in the way of plot, but it does include:
- A lot of creative facial hair
- Atmospheric shots of men holding and firing guns
- Atmospheric shots of a stagecoach rolling through some snow
- Jackson doing his customary I'm-Samuel-L-Jackson-in-a-Quentin-Tarantino-movie thing for the line, "Move a little strange, you're going to get a bullet. Not a warning, not a question [gunshot noise]. a bullet."
