Protests in Egypt following the biggest mass death sentence in the country's modern history have now entered into a second week, and up to six people have died in clashes over the last three days. As the violence continues, social media from the country has been flooded with graphic images and videos.

There were further demonstrations at the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo today, after two students reportedly died there during clashes with authorities on Sunday.

Local sources said that two men, named Attah Ahmed and Ahmed Abdel-Hafez, were fatally shot after government forces entered the Nasr City campus to stop student protests. This follows the death of a female journalist and up to three others after a Friday demonstration by Brotherhood supporters also descended into violence.

This extremely graphic video purportedly shows of one of the students killed on Sunday, named by activists and in several local reports as Abdel-Hafez.

On Friday, at least four people also died in clashes with security forces in the Ain Shams district of Cairo, including a young journalist who was reportedly shot in the head while covering protests by supporters of ousted president Mohammed Morsi.

Mayada Ashraf, a 22-year-old reporter for the Al-Dostour newspaper, was killed during the clashes. The Brotherhood protesters held the march to protest the mass death sentence handed down on Monday and are also opposed to Army Chief Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who officially announced his bid for the Egyptian presidency on Wednesday.

Ashraf's last report from the scene of Friday’s violence included a description of live ammunition being fired, but it was unclear whether this came from the Brotherhood protesters or police.

This graphic video shows Ashraf being carried away from the scene after being shot.
