St. Louis Rams Players Take Field With "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" Gesture

St. Louis Rams enter home field with "Hands up, Don't Shoot" gesture following news that Ferguson cop Darren Wilson will not face charges for killing Michael Brown.

The St. Louis Rams acknowledged the unrest in their own backyard in the wake of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson's killing of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager, this August. The "Hands up, Don't Shoot" gesture and saying have been adopted by protesters angry with the Ferguson government's handling of the matter, and police interactions with minority citizens in general.

The Rams, including wide receivers Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin, entered their home turf at Edward Jones Dome in a sign of solidarity with their community and drew further attention to the recent, yet not-at-all-surprising non-indictment of officer Wilson and the bizarre grand jury process following Brown's killing.
