One cool thing about making music in 2015 is that today's production technologies make it easier than ever to switch between tools specific to different styles of music. If you were feeling really dramatic about it, you could even say that it was a kind of time traveling.

As you probably know, today is a special day in the mythology of time travel, because it's the exact day Back To The Future designated as the future in the DeLorean time machine (above). In honor of that, Yehezkel Raz and Ronen Peri have announced "Back to the Future - TIME MACHINE!," a new plugin for Max for Live of Ableton suite. With that program, you'll be able to easily sound like you're producing in 2015, 1985 (in grainy VHS sound), or 1955 (with classic vinyl hiss) with just a click. It's not out yet, but you can preorder it here.
