DVA is in his own strange world. It's nearly impossible to describe how his music sounds and he seems to speak in his own language on twitter and in interviews, but that is what makes him so exciting. While hosting the flagship Grimey Breakfast show on RinseFM for several years he gave us tons of dancefloor hits with grime influenced basslines and unpredictable kicks and snares until he eventually released his full length album, Pretty Ugly, on the UK's beloved and forward thinking Hyperdub label. After leaving his early morning radio spot he continued to host RinseFM's monthly Hyperdub radio show which airs every second sunday of the month at 23:00 GMT. We spoke to DVA and he hooked us up with an exclusive mp3 and his favorite moments of the show so far. Put this show in your calendar because there will be plenty more moments like the ones mentioned below.
