Watch 21 Savage, Metro Boomin’, and Future Flex in the New Video for “X”

The ‘Savage Mode’ EP's lead single finally gets some real visuals.

Technically, 21 Savage and Future had already put together some sort of visuals for "X" long before Christmas. The lead single from the July's Savage Mode EP, originally titled "X Bitch," was 21's choice for his performance at the BET Awards Ceremony in Atlanta in October. There, following a typically energetic minute from Lil Uzi Vert, the 23-year-old's laid-back style made him seem half-asleep, accentuating his laconic style in all the wrong ways. People said as much, too. And 21 was mad about it.

On Christmas Day, Future, and Metro Boomin', and 21 dropped the official video for "X," benefiting from Vincent Lou's slick direction and wrestling the spotlight back for a minute. Between shots in the limo, at the club, and on top of stacked mattresses, the trio flex every time the lyrics call for it and fake dribble moves when they hear the word "ball." It's mostly worth watching, though, for 21's fur coat. It makes Cruella de Vil look like a coward.
