In the hours after a 19-year-old opened fire with an AR-15 assault rifle at his former high school Wednesday, dozens of parents and members of the Parkland community put out calls on social media hoping to track down their missing loved ones.
It was later confirmed 17 people were killed and at least 14 others were injured in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
