The results are in and the winner of Trump's fake news award is 404 Error

Trump's highly anticipated awards show is going great!

The Trump administration’s highly anticipated (and mysteriously postponed) “Fake News Awards” are live. And the winner? A little-known outlet referred to only as “404 Error.”

Trump tweeted the link, titled “The Highly Anticipated 2017 Fake News Awards,” with a sub-hed explaining that “2017 has been a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage, and even downright fake news.”

But users who clicked the link, which directs to a page on the GOP's website, found only a 404 error or a note that “The site is temporarily offline, we are working to bring it back up. Please try back later.”

According to an unverified report from Fox News, the New York Times topped the list.

This story is still developing and will not be updated as the winners come in.
