As the conflict between pro-Russia rebels and the Ukrainian military intensifies, civilians continue to suffer across eastern Ukraine. Amid the fighting, VICE News correspondent Simon Ostrovsky visited the cities of Mariupol, Komsomolsk, and Novoazarivka to gauge the situation on the ground. In Mariupol, residents are protesting against pro-Russia militias, while in Komsomolsk, citizens reported they were robbed by the Ukrainian National Guard, and are now waiting with open arms for pro-Russia forces to infiltrate.
