Just over a year after VICE Media launched VICE News, the website has landed five out of the record-breaking 17 total award nominations the company received for the 2015 Webby Awards. But it's up to you, our readers and viewers, to take us to the next level.

VICE News has been featured among five leading outlets in the News website category for this year's awards, and we're up against some top notch and more established competition, including the New York Times and the Guardian. It's stiff competition, but VICE News has never been afraid of adversity, which we've displayed in our on-the-ground reporting from some of the world's most dangerous regions. From across the globe, our journalists have produced hundreds of documentaries and series, some of which have been independently nominated for Webbys this year.

The Webby's News & Politics category has nominated our series, Russian Roulette, which follows host Simon Ostrovsky as he reports from the front lines of the conflict in Ukraine. The series also received a nomination for an individual episode in the Online Film & Video category for its second dispatch, which chronicled VICE News' efforts to sneak into a Ukrainian military base.

Other nods include a Best Documentary Series nominations for The Fight Against Ebola — our in-depth look of the deadly virus in Africa, and Alice Speri's reporting from the Millions March against police brutality in the US, for which VICE News teamed up with digital artist Chris Milk and filmmaker Spike Jonze to create a virtual reality news broadcast of the event.

VICE News also received the Honoree award for Best News and Political Series for Last Chance High, a multi-part series that took viewers to Chicago's West Side, and inside the hallways of the Moses Montefiore Academy, a school for the city's most at-risk youth.

So now it's up to you, our readers and viewers, to let the web know if you think we deserve these awards. Show us some love and clink on the links below to vote for individual categories.
