New York police officials are investigating claims that a former detective with the Manhattan special victims unit groped and kissed a 24-year-old woman he referred to as his "favorite victim" during a rape investigation.

The unidentified woman has alleged the events took place two years ago when Lukasz Skorzewski, 31, a detective-in-training, and his boss, Lt. Adam Lamboy, 44, had flown to Seattle to interview her about rape allegations she filed in January 2013 while she was studying at a New York college, the New York Daily News reported.

A day after the interview, which took place on July 5, 2013, the woman said she contacted the police with follow-up questions, and the officers asked her to meet them for drinks, telling her she'd be "safe with us."

Sometime over the course of the evening, Skorzewski allegedly told the woman "You're my favorite victim."

At around 12:30am, the woman said she told the officers she left her car parked somewhere far away, and the men offered her the bed in Skorzewski's hotel room, while he slept on the couch. In the morning, Skorzewski allegedly made "aggressive" advances on the woman, who participated at first but then put a stop to it and left the hotel, she alleged.

"He really felt me up, tried to get his hands down my pants," she told the Daily News. "He was trying to put his hands down my pants or work them up my shorts."

The cops returned to New York, and the woman said she and Skorzewski maintained a phone relationship for a while before he ended it because he was afraid his wife would find out. The woman later relayed the entire incident to a friend in the department.

Skorzewski has reportedly been demoted from the special victims division after receiving a promotion to detective last February. Lambert has also been transferred from the elite sex crimes unit to a different precinct.
