Anonymous Takes Credit for Releasing Donald Trump’s Personal Information That's Been Online for Months

The so-called "hack" comes two weeks after the group declared war on Trump, but the information is hardly new and, if real, has likely been changed.

The long list of people that hate Donald Trump has included the cyber hacking collective Anonymous for several weeks now. Today, a Youtube user claiming to represent the group decided to take their war against the Republican frontrunner up a notch by releasing what they allege to be his home address, social security and phone numbers online.

But the information, which includes an address on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and a New York cell phone number, has been floating around online since at least last year. Gawker published the same cell phone number, saying it was Trump's, way back in August.

The alleged Anonymous member is now taking credit for the information less than two weeks after the group posted a video to Youtube declaring "total war" on Trump.

A digitally altered voice in the new video published on Thursday calls for their supporters to battle "against the forces of evil, bigotry and fascism."

"To show that we are very serious about stopping any proposed forthright by the fascist Donald Trump we have attached a gift of sorts," the narrator continues. "Trump's Social Security number, cell phone number and other details that might be able to assist you."

The information was attached to the video on Youtube.

Anonymous is actually taking a page out of Trump's own playbook of pranks. The frontrunner gave out Senator Lindsey Graham's phone number last summer, after Graham called him a "jackass," telling his supporters to try calling it. Graham was also running for president at the time.

No one picked up when VICE News called the cell phone number that the video claims to be Trump's and the automated mailbox was full. The information is likely fake or has been changed since it was first released months ago.
