Children now make up more than half of the world’s refugees. According to a recent UNICEF Uprooted Report, violent conflict has driven 28 million children to flee their home countries. There were twice as many refugee children in 2015 than there were in 2005, and host countries are struggling to keep up with the unique needs of displaced people, especially children.
