Jimmy Kimmel has accepted Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore’s challenge to meet “man to man.”The comedian and the bible-thumping politico got into a Twitter feud Thursday night after a character from Kimmel’s show, “Jake Byrd,” appeared at a Moore campaign rally yelling “supportive” statements like “I’m your No. 1 fan” and “Does that look like the face of someone who hits on teenage girls?!”Moore responded on Twitter:

To which Kimmel followed up:
The exchange continued with Kimmel alluding to the mounting allegations against Moore of sexual assaulting teenage girls when he was a 30-something assistant DA in the late 1970s.“OK, Roy, but I’m leaving my daughters at home!” Kimmel tweeted.The comedian then took to his show pulpit Thursday night to clear up any confusion. “I accept, by the way. I accept that invitation.”“There is no one I would love to fight more than you. I will put my Christian values aside just for you and for that fight,” Kimmel said.Several women have brought allegations against Moore, including one who says he pursued a relationship with her when she was 14 and another who has accused him of attempted rape when she was 16. Moore blames the allegations on a “conspiracy” of socialists, LGBTQ individuals, and “the Washington establishment” trying to undermine him and conservative values.No word yet on whether Moore will come to their duel bearing that tiny gun he waved around at a rally back in September.The special election for Alabama Senate seat is set for Dec. 12.
