Stormy Daniels wants public to help ID man who threatened her to keep quiet about Trump

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer is asking the public to help identify the man who threatened the porn star in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.

Michael Avenatti said he plans to release a composite sketch Tuesday of the man who allegedly told Daniels (real name: Stephanie Clifford) to keep quiet about her alleged 2006-7 affair with Donald Trump if she wanted to stay safe.

“A composite sketch has been produced,” Avenatti said on CNN's “New Day” on Monday. “We're going to be releasing that tomorrow, along with a significant reward. We are asking that the public come forward. We are very close to identifying this individual.”

Avenatti didn’t say if he’s shared the sketch with the police.

“We are going to offer a significant reward to get us over the goal line, and I am confident we are going to get there,” he said.

Clifford, an adult film actress, told Anderson Cooper in a highly-watched “60 Minutes” interview last month that after she agreed to discuss her alleged affair with Trump in InTouch Magazine in 2011, a man threatened her and her infant daughter in a parking lot outside an exercise facility.

“A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,’” Daniels said. “And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter [in the back seat of the car] and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”

Avenatti said they believe the threat was made on behalf of Trump or the Trump Organization.

“I think it's pretty clear where it came from,” he said.

That’s why forensic artist Lois Gibson is doing a sketch of the attacker. Avenatti tweeted a photo of Daniels flipping through images of faces while Gibson sketches on an easel on Monday, calling Gibson “the foremost forensic artist in the world.”

The tweet comes one day after Avenatti tweeted that he had a “major announcement” about identifying the person who Daniels claimed threatened her and her daughter in 2011.

Daniels is in a legal battle with Trump over a nondisclosure agreement that Daniels signed just before the 2016 election. She claims the agreement, in which she received $130,000 from Trump's attorney Michael Cohen, isn’t valid because Trump didn’t sign it.

The White House continues to deny the affair took place, and Trump was largely silent on the issue until Friday, when he told reporters he didn’t know about the payment.

“You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen,” Trump said. “Michael is my attorney. You’ll have to ask Michael.”
