Eyewitnesses describe the killing of British MP Jo Cox

In the wake of the murder of a British MP, VICE News speaks with eyewitnesses at the scene.

Jo Cox, the 41-year-old Labour Member of Parliament for Batley and Spen, died on June 16 after being stabbed and shot in the village of Birstall, West Yorkshire.

Cross-party tributes have been made to a 'rising star' in British politics, while a local man Thomas Mair, aged 52, has been arrested over the MP's murder.

In the wake of the attack, VICE News traveled to Birstall to speak with eyewitnesses and locals.
