The Daily Stormer is running out of places to post on the Internet — Twitter kicked several accounts associated with the prominent neo-Nazi website off its platform Wednesday.So far, the Daily Stormer been booted from at least three existing or potential domains, including GoDaddy and Google, since a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned violent, leading to the death of one woman. And despite briefly finding a home on a Russian domain, the Daily Stormer site there now also appears to be down.Currently, on Twitter, handles like @dailystormers, @dailystormer, and @rudhum appear as “suspended.”A spokesperson for Twitter did not immediately reply to VICE News’ request for comment, but Twitter’s code of conduct makes it clear that users “may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender,” and a whole host of other categories.The events in Charlottesville seem to have galvanized tech companies to scour their platforms for white nationalists and supremacists and eliminate related accounts from their services. Facebook and Reddit banned neo-Nazi groups from their platforms shortly after the rally, while GoFundMe shut down several campaigns to raise money for the man who alleged struck and killed Heather Heyer with his car during the Charlottesville rally. Even Spotify’s getting in on it — the streaming service took down the music of several white supremacist bands on Wednesday.Andrew Anglin, who runs the Daily Stormer, also did not immediately reply to VICE News’ request for comment.
