House Republicans voted Wednesday to block a rule passed in the last month of Obama’s presidency restricting internet service providers’ collection and sale of users’ data. The development caused many on the internet — including those on Reddit’s pro-Trump subreddit — to become concerned about their internet privacy, which is now in the hands of the person who understands the internet best: President Trump.
